Peanut butter cookie time!

Heading out to pick up Sam soon, but first one more Max and Mommy chore to complete. Peanut butter cookies! Yum!








He kind of lost interest half way through, but he was excited when they were done and ready to eat! Of course!

Maxisms

So this morning we put some more "things to do" on Max's sticker chart. I read it our to him, one on there was "Pick my cars up when I am done playing", when I told him that one he jumped down off his chair and headed out to get to work. "Alright Mommy! Will do!" Don't know where he heard that before!
About an hour later, I walked over his car mat and messed up a few of his cars. You can imagine he was not impressed. "Mommy!" He said, "Don't do that again!" So I told him I would be more careful next time and I was sorry. The he says "Maybe soon we should make a sticker chart for you." Ha. I've been told.

Thomas Amusements

Last night we headed into Lewisporte to go to Thomas Amusements. Just Mommy and Max. Sam stayed at Nanny's house all night. We left at around 3:30pm and went to pick up Subway for supper once we got in. We decided to get it to go and eat in the van while we sat and watched some of the rides at the fair. Max got a bracelet which meant he could go on all the rides he wanted, and he definitely did! The car merry-go-round was by far his favorite, and he rode it about 10 times! He also tried out the bouncy castle, the horse carousel and the strawberry ride. Remember earlier this summer when Max was scared to go on their even with Daddy? Well last night he went all by himself! What a big boy! It started to rain about an hour and a half after we started, so we decided (well Mommy decided) we better head for home. When we got home we stopped in to visit Grammy for a second and bring her a coffee, then went home and pulled out the sofa bed and watched a movie (first half of Monsters Inc. and then Alvin and the Chipmunks) until bed time. We didn't go to bed until 11:30pm!
Today, we didn't sleep in like Mommy wanted, but oh well. Lots to do. We are going to make homemade pizza for lunch together and peanut butter cookies! After lunch we are going to go pick up Sam from Nanny's house. It is raining here today so we probably won't do much this afternoon.
